Here are just a few of the things that came out of this little girls mouth yesterday:

"So, apparently Brett is going to come home and pick Cousin Hadley's toes"

Brinley: DAD! SLOW DOWN YOU CAN'T DRIVE THAT FAST!!

Brett: Brinley, how long have you had your drivers license?

Brinley: no....days?

Brinley had to go to the bathroom while we were watching some lights in a gated community so Brett was trying to get her to go to the bathroom outside. She freaked out and wouldn't do it so while we were rushing to a gas station for a bathroom, Brinley and Uncle Jake had this conversation:

Jake: Brinley, when you grow up and go to girls camp you are going to have to learn how to go to the bathroom outside.

Brinley: Jake - guess what?

Jake: What Brin?

Brinley: (said with some sort of 3 year old southern accent) When I grow up. I'm going to buy myself a phone.

Jake: You are going to buy your own phone??

Brinley: Yep. Then when I go to girls camp, I'm gonna call ma daddy, tell him to come and pick me up, and take me potty.

Problem solved.

today I was sitting on the bottom step in our house, upset from a fight brinley and I had, had before I took her to school. Sweet little Presley sits down next to me on the step folds her arms and bows her head and "prays" then looks up at me with a huge smile- like mom I made it all better!

A Mother's Prayer

Dear Lord, it's such a hectic day,
With little time to stop and pray,
For life's been anything but calm,
Since you called on me to be a mom.

Running errands, matching socks,
Building dreams with building blocks.
Cooking, cleaning, and finding shoes,
And other stuff that children lose.

Fitting lids on bottled bugs,
Wiping tears and giving hugs.
A stack of last week's mail to read,
So where's the quiet time I need?

Yet when I steal a minute Lord,
Just at the sink or ironing board,
To ask the blessings of your grace,
I see then in my small one's face,

That you have blessed me all the while,
As I stop to kiss that precious smile.

heavenly father,

we'd like close ( close our fast, from when she heard us end our fast)

please bless uncle shane (had 2 brain anerysums and a heart surgery) and uncle david ( who went in to get some help with his depression and try some alternative methods). Bless uncle david that he will get feeling well

bless brett that he will get feeling well from his head aches( he had headaches for 3 weeks from his back and neck being out of whack), that his back and hips wont hurt

Bless presley that it will be easy for her to poop ( presley had a really bad day and had a really hard time pooping and it made brinley really sad to watch presley be so sad.)

Bless all my cousins friends that they will be well....
